The House Of Representatives Is Suing President Obama, But Why?

But the POTUS doesn't seem all too worried.

Wait, so you mean you can sue the president of the United States?
Yep, and that’s exactly what the House of Representatives is doing.
According to the Associated Press, the Republican-led House has filed a lawsuit against President Obama for “deliberately exceeding the bounds of his constitutional authority” — most specifically in his health-care reform.
The House voted to sue Obama in a 225-to-201 vote — with five Republicans voting against, and no Democrats voting for it.
According to the AP, the last time this happened was in 2008, when the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee filed a suit against the Bush Administration to try to enforce subpoenas against senior White House officials.
Not one to typically lose his cool, the POTUS doesn’t seem all that concerned by the move. In fact, in a recent stop in Kansas City, Missouri, he dismissed the whole thing as a “political stunt.” Congressional elections are, after all, just a few months away.
“Some of the things we’re doing without Congress are making a difference, but we could do so much more if Congress would just come on and help out a little bit,” he told the crowd at the Uptown Theater, according to MSNBC. “Just come on. Come on and help out a little bit. Stop being mad all the time. Stop just hating all the time. Come on. Let’s get some work done together.”
So, will it actually amount to anything? Probably not. According to the AP, Republicans would have to prove that the House had been “injured” in the President’s overstepping of boundaries.
