Exceptionally talented rapper Dotman today Saturday 15th of November, 2014 smiled home with a brand new Kia Picanto car, emerging the winner of Airtel One Mic singing competition.
The Unilag undergraduate beat five other contestants from reputable institutions in Lagos state to emerge the winner of the grand finale after beating more than 40 contestants at the preliminary stage which took place at the University of Lagos, the previous day. more pics below...
The grand finale witnessed a massive turn out and reception of students from the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos State University (LASU) and Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech).
The event took place at Beverly Event centre, new garage Bariga Lagos with prominent Nigerian singers, the likes of Vector tha Viper, Reminisce and Legendary music producer ID Cabasa as the judges.
In an exclusive interview with Tayo Lawal of UnilagHowfar.com, Dotman expressed his heartfelt appreciation to God almighty and the entire students of Unilag, especially the residents of Biobaku and Sodeinde boys hostels of the institution who were all out to support him to victory.
"Words are not enough to express exactly how I would have loved to appreciate you guyz, you are the best I've ever met in life, thank you for believing in him, thank you for the love and support, thank you Airtel, thank you God almighty" he said.
