43 year old security man almost beaten to death after being caught raping 11 year old groundnut hawker.
A 43 year old security guard, Elias James, has the heavens to thank as he would been killed by a mob in Kuje - Abuja, the FCT, after he allegedly raped an 11 year old girl,.
Residents of the area were shocked when they caught the sneaky security guard after he had lured the girl into an uncompleted building and defiled her on Thursday, July 2.
The angry residents immediately descended on him, almost killing him in the process.
A resident of the community identified as Bako, said a woman who sells provisions near the building caught the man on the groundnut hawker and raised the alarm.
“The woman had gone to collect her bottles of mineral drinks from the security guard when she saw him raping the girl and ran out to raise an alarm."
According to Bako, some labourers and commercial motorcycle riders who got wind of the incident, pounced on him before he was rescued by some elders and taken to a police outpost in the village.
